Apollo Gymnastics After School Program 2024-25

Thank you for your interest in Apollo's Afterschool Gymnastics program for the 2024-25 School Year.

Florida’s first gymnastics facility, est. 1975, is coming to Oldsmar. Our forever home will be located at 390 Scarlet Blvd and we look forward to providing transportation from local schools. Your child will participate in a program designed to keep children active and engaged while developing their physical abilities and social skills. Other activities include structured gymnastics, group games, board games, crafts, and more. The weekly tuition is $110 per child, with a 10% sibling discount. Families that do not need all 5 days of participation are welcome to enroll, yet, the tuition remains the same.

Our blueprint for success includes:

  • A safe environment and nurturing staff

  • Gymnastics instruction from USA Gymnastics Safety Certified Staff

  • Staff background checks

  • Fun physical fitness preparation for all sports

  • Structured Gymnastics

  • Group Games and Crafts

  • Friday Movies

  • Concession Snacks

  • Reading Corner, Computers, Legos, Board Games, and more!

Transportation will be provided from the below-listed schools. If your child’s school is not on the list, you may elect to enroll your child as a ‘Drop-Off’ Gymnast. Drop-off gymnasts will require independent transportation to our facility.

Program Key Points

What to Wear

All children must be sent with gymnastics-appropriate clothing to wear.  Females can wear a leotard (with or without shorts), a tank top, or a t-shirt, along with leggings or athletic shorts. Males can wear a tank top, a t-shirt, a or Step-In, along with athletic shorts or pants. Chosen attire cannot expose the child’s torso. All bottoms (shorts, leggings, pants, etc.) must have an elastic waistband. Clothing cannot include belts, buttons, or zippers of any kind. Additionally, children are not permitted out on the gym floor with jewelry (except for stud earrings) or hard headbands.

Snack Accounts

During the application completion process you will have an opportunity to include and specify an additional draft amount to be used towards the purchase of concession items. Our policy is to allow any child that has opted-in for a snack account, to debit up to $1.00 daily. If you would like your child to have a greater daily allowance amount, please indicate it in the "Concession Notes" field, of the Recurring Authorization page of the application.

Afterschool Gymnastics Tuition

Tuition will be automatically drafted every Friday for the upcoming week of participation. Notification of a successful or failed payment will be system-generated and sent to the primary email address specified on the Parent Portal Account. Families that log into their portal and satisfy their balances by Sunday will not be subject to a late payment fee. On Monday of the unpaid week, any account with a past due balance will incur a $10.00 late fee charge. Students with unpaid balances will be transported on Monday of the unpaid week, however, transportation services will pause on Tuesday and will only resume when the account is satisfied. Prorations or credits will not be issued for any days, including days missed due to unpaid account balances.

Call Me Maybe is a Carly Rae Jepsen Song

Our Transportation vans are scheduled to pick up more than one school each day on their individual routes. If a child does not show up to the pickup area of the school our Transporters do not leave the campus until they are authorized to do so. This authorization presents itself in three ways. A school ambassador will communicate an absence or an Apollo administrator will clear the driver for takeoff after multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach the parent/guardian. The third way is the best way! That child’s parent/guardian would have emailed or left a voicemail for our staff (at least two hours prior to dismissal) to notify us of the upcoming absence. Your consistency to communicate an absence in a timely manner, prevents pick up delays for the other children at the succeeding schools. As opposed to the song, Call Us Surely!

  • Our facility's waiver and policy acceptance procedure is a paperless process. Accepting our policies and waivers is accessible by creating an online Parent Portal account. Policy and waiver acceptance is required for your child to go out on the gym floor. We will not be able to allow any child out onto the gym floor that does not have an Apollo Parent Portal account set up, including having accepted the policies.  Please note, that as a direct result of our relocation into a new building, Apollo will be updating these facility policies in July. All families must review and re-accept the terms when the policy update occurs. Our staff will send out notifications via email and text messages. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you in advance for your understanding.
